About LMR:  Long Meadow Ranch is a family-owned agricultural enterprise producing grapes and wine, olives and olive oil, grass-fed beef and lamb, fruits, vegetables, and eggs in the Napa Valley, Anderson Valley and Marin County. The many-faceted operation includes the 650-acre LMR Mayacamas Estate home ranch located in the Mayacamas Mountains above Rutherford and the 90-acre LMR Rutherford Estate, located on the Rutherford Bench, and, in Mendocino County, the 145-acre LMR Anderson Valley Estate. The Long Meadow Ranch operations also include an acclaimed farm-to-table restaurant, a general store and wine tasting bar in the historic Logan-Ives House, an outdoor cafe, a farmer's market, working garden and a variety of unique event spaces all located at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch.
About the Opportunity:  LMR's charming outdoor café is nestled under a picturesque blue spruce tree at the north end of Farmstead and serves customers from 7am to 4pm.  The Cafe offers coffee drinks, pastries, panini, beer and wine and other small bites.The Café Manager is responsible for the success of the café and manages all aspects of the café including staffing, operations, inventory, customer service, and customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:
Oversee Daily Operations
  • ·       Maintain a clean well-merchandised cafe, following standards for visual presentation plans and standards
  • ·       Model behavior that best represents the Cafe with warm service, prompt execution of orders, taking initiative and communicating effectively
  • ·       Communicate all product changes, promotions, operational changes to the staff
  • ·       Monitor inventory levels and assist in rotation of product and follow standards to minimize waste
  • ·       Hold daily pre-shift meetings for staff to communicate changes, motivate staff, hold sales contests and educate on new offerings
  • ·       Train staff on LMR products including wine, olive oil, packaged foods
  • ·       Ensure all drink recipes and food preparation guidelines are being followed
  • ·       Provide coaching and counseling to staff to attain the highest level of customer service.
  • ·       Maintain financial and inventory records and ensure proper execution of retail procedures,
  • ·       Order as needed all Cafe supplies including dairy, paper, food ingredients.
  • ·       Ensure opening and closing procedures are being followed by staff
  • ·       Maintain high standards for cleaning, side-work and regular deep cleaning
  • ·       Achieve goals for sales and profitability.  Follow company policies on interdepartmental product transfers
  • ·       Manage and perform all POS duties, opening and closing procedures
  • ·       Resolve customer service issues and complaints
  • ·       Build relationships with preferred patrons and PX guests
  • ·       Promote and practice safe work habits, identifying and resolving potential safety hazards and customer incidents
  • ·       Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation
  • ·       Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative, positive and respectful workplace culture

Administrative and General
  • ·       Manage products including ordering, merchandising, inventory control and pricing
  • ·       Organize and maintain inventory
  • ·       Place weekly product orders
  • ·       Schedule staff in accordance to traffic projections
  • ·       Attend weekly management meetings to promote new offerings
  • ·       Maintain, print and order collateral and menus as needed 

Experience, Education and Required Skills
  • ·       Two years of sales experience in a cafe, restaurant or retail sales environment
  • ·       Experience in food preparation for a cafe, bakery or related business
  • ·       Ability to effectively communicate in a welcoming and professional manner
  • ·       Experience with POS systems
  • ·       Ability to work independently and with a team
  • ·       Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • ·       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
  • ·       Ability to work early morning shift
  • ·       Ability to work weekends and holidays, flexibility in schedule is desired

About the Opportunity:  Long Meadow Ranch has an exciting opportunity in the company for a Supply Chain Manager. This key role will promote the design, development, and implementation of warehouse, distribution and logistics solutions for all aspects of the company.  You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate order process, delivery, customer service and management of inventory to help the organization achieve its goals. This is a new role for our organization that is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of operational efficiencies to excel and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure high level customer service to suppliers, distributors, sales team and company departments
  • Administer and refine the fulfillment process which includes placing orders, sending order acknowledgements to distributors and warehouses, generating invoices and order tracking
  • Conduct audit processes for accuracy of purchase orders including, SKU, vintage, inventory availability, pricing, payment terms and shipping instructions
  • Manage the movement of inventory flow  and quantities of products from the various warehouses, distributors, retail and company locations
  • Generate reporting for the wholesale team, wholesale customers and distributors to provide status on orders, allocations and product availability
  • Provide timely communication and resolution for any supply chain issues to key stakeholders and management
  • Manage export sales fulfillment to ensure necessary documentation and special requirements are completed
  • Control and maintain the record keeping of completed orders and related documentation
  • Conduct the process for distributor billbacks and credit memos
  • Manage and administer sample order fulfillment to ensure orders are processed within the delivery windows required by key stakeholders
  • Manage company owned warehouse including weekly and monthly reconciliation and monthly physical inventory.
  • Oversee and perform daily activities, including shipping and receiving as needed
  • Develop and maintain warehouse operation SOPs and reporting documentation
  • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment within the warehouse
  • Utilize team building skills to handle peak shipping periods and deadlines and communicate timely and effectively with customers and teammates
Education, Experience and Requirements
  • BA or equivalent years of experience in supply chain, logistics or similar relevant field desired
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents
  • Experience preferred, but not mandatory, in importing, wine-purchasing and logistics
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate metrics and important information clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite products
  • Experience with Netsuite or other accounting systems
  • Experience with AMS/RMS, Ship Compliant and supply chain systems
  • Effective and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Must be organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also working as a team player as needed
  • Must be forklift certified or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs
  • Physical ability to kneel, bend, stand, climb stairs and ladders
  • Must have a valid CA Drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
  • A pre-employment background check

About the Opportunity: Long Meadow Ranch is recruiting for a Winemaker to manage the Farmstead and Hunt & Harvest winemaking programs. Additionally, the Winemaker will be responsible for the management of bottling preparation and bottling wine-making activity for all Long Meadow Ranch wines (stabilization, filtration and bottling) and be responsible for wine quality control during wine bottling. This role will involve managing wine production at a custom crush facility and supporting winery operations at LMR winery facilities. The Winemaker will report to the Director of Production Operations and also assist the VP of Winemaking, other LMR Winemakers, Cellar masters and cellar crew during times of peak demand including harvest and bottling.

Responsibilities
Oversee winemaking with accountability for product style, quality and integrity for multiple brands, including Farmstead and Hunt & Harvest brands
Manage bottling preparation winemaking activities across multiple programs and estates including stabilization, filtration and through bottling
Execute wine quality control program during bottling activities
Plan and schedule activities in areas of responsibility including writing all work-orders and tracking their completion 
Interact with custom crush personnel in a professional manner
Carry out cellar duties at LMR winery facilities, as needed 
Contribute to wine growing meetings and discussions
Participate in production tastings
Support production team activities with administrative tasks, as needed

Education, Experience and Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Enology and Viticulture, Fermentation, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Food Science or related
At least 3 years of winemaking experience (such as in an Enologist, Assistant Winemaker or Winemaker role)
Experience with Vintrace, Excel, Word as well as cloud based productivity tools such as Google Suite
Proven experience across a range of white and red winemaking styles 
Developed wine tasting palate
Experience supervising work at a custom crush facility 
Cellar capable including racking, barrel management and sanitation
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Ability to lift 75+ lbs
Valid California Driver’s License and maintain a safe driving record
A pre-employment background check and physical test
