About the Opportunity:  Long Meadow Ranch has an exciting opportunity in the company for a Supply Chain Manager. This key role will promote the design, development, and implementation of warehouse, distribution and logistics solutions for all aspects of the company.  You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate order process, delivery, customer service and management of inventory to help the organization achieve its goals. This is a new role for our organization that is a great opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of operational efficiencies to excel and grow with the company.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure high level customer service to suppliers, distributors, sales team and company departments
  • Administer and refine the fulfillment process which includes placing orders, sending order acknowledgements to distributors and warehouses, generating invoices and order tracking
  • Conduct audit processes for accuracy of purchase orders including, SKU, vintage, inventory availability, pricing, payment terms and shipping instructions
  • Manage the movement of inventory flow  and quantities of products from the various warehouses, distributors, retail and company locations
  • Generate reporting for the wholesale team, wholesale customers and distributors to provide status on orders, allocations and product availability
  • Provide timely communication and resolution for any supply chain issues to key stakeholders and management
  • Manage export sales fulfillment to ensure necessary documentation and special requirements are completed
  • Control and maintain the record keeping of completed orders and related documentation
  • Conduct the process for distributor billbacks and credit memos
  • Manage and administer sample order fulfillment to ensure orders are processed within the delivery windows required by key stakeholders
  • Manage company owned warehouse including weekly and monthly reconciliation and monthly physical inventory.
  • Oversee and perform daily activities, including shipping and receiving as needed
  • Develop and maintain warehouse operation SOPs and reporting documentation
  • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment within the warehouse
  • Utilize team building skills to handle peak shipping periods and deadlines and communicate timely and effectively with customers and teammates
Education, Experience and Requirements
  • BA or equivalent years of experience in supply chain, logistics or similar relevant field desired
  • Knowledge of logistics operations and shipping procedures and documents
  • Experience preferred, but not mandatory, in importing, wine-purchasing and logistics
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate metrics and important information clearly and professionally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite products
  • Experience with Netsuite or other accounting systems
  • Experience with AMS/RMS, Ship Compliant and supply chain systems
  • Effective and concise oral and written communication skills
  • Must be organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, while also working as a team player as needed
  • Must be forklift certified or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs

Long Meadow Ranch has an exciting opportunity in the company for a Marketing Coordinator. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the continuity of messaging for Long Meadow Ranch in consumer, trade and media channels. The Marketing Coordinator will be working with all of Long Meadow Ranch’s businesses to create and build a unique identity for the company and communicate that out to the public. This position will report to the Creative Services Manager and will work closely with managers in all parts of the company. 

Responsibilities

Develop creative content (including seasonal & brand milestones) and manage social media to maximize brand engagement
Research audience preferences and discover current trends
Work closely with digital marketing agencies to build engaging campaigns across social platforms
Collaborate in creating engaging text, image and video content
Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
Review, analyze and report weekly social performance metrics
Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
Maintain social media accounts’ layout

Assist in tracking key metrics, analyzing findings and recommending courses of action

Education, Experience and Required Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English or closely related discipline
At least 2 years of experience in marketing and communications in the lifestyle, restaurant, resort, hotel, travel or winery industry
Strong computer proficiency with graphic design experience and Microsoft Office and Google Documents. Understanding of working collaboratively with staff members locally and remotely, on-line and off-line

Long Meadow Ranch has a unique opportunity for a Financial Controller to join our administration to provide quality customer service to our ranch and winery management team, our business partners, our customers and our vendors. Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Financial Controller will be responsible for review and forecasting of cash flow, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures, recommendations for continuous improvement, and general accounting functions for Long Meadow Ranch Partners, L.P. and LMR Wine Estates LLC in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles. This position requires ethical conduct and thoroughness, along with critical thinking, attention to detail and time management.

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and follow a comprehensive set of policies and procedures, in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Prepare journal entries and perform reconciliations in support of monthly and year-end close
Manage daily accounting tasks including: accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and daily banking tasks
Supervise farm production periodic inventory counts and maintain perpetual inventory system for non-financial inventory reporting (tons/lbs./etc.)
Assist with the budget/re-forecasting and cash forecasting processes
Approve and monitor billing activity as processed by the Accounts Payable Specialist, ensuring accuracy of accounts payable coding by departmental managers
Ensure accuracy and completeness of LMR Wine Estates LLC direct-to-consumer sales in financial accounting software, reconciling monthly
Record royalty revenue and other intercompany accounting transactions as deemed necessary
Monitor, track and report on all required external compliance, including organic certifications, water system compliance, etc.
Participate as a team member on key business initiatives, including cost accounting, workflow management, and customer correspondence protocol
Evaluate, recommend and implement policies, procedures and systems related to company efficiency, productivity and internal controls

Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance

In-depth knowledge of accounting software, QuickBooks experience a plus
Experience with ecommerce and POS systems, WineDirect preferred
Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint with advanced MS Excel skills

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HR Specialist will be responsible for employee recruitment, new hire processes, on-going employee relations and employee file management. The Human Resources team is a dynamic small team that works collaboratively with all departments to build and retain a successful team of managers and employees. We are searching for an enthusiastic individual who has the passion and drive to be an advocate for employees at all stages of their LMR career.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer the recruitment process from outreach to hire
  • Assist with development of recruitment SOPs and ensure adherence
  • Utilize, update and maintain the Greenhouse application, an applicant tracking software, on a daily basis
  • Work closely with hiring managers to establish job criteria and a hiring plan for new job openings 
  • Post and maintain job postings for open positions
  • Ensure offer letters are accurate, properly communicated and signed
  • Input all new hires into HRIS systems for start of employment
  • Schedule and provide the onboarding orientation to all new hires including proper paperwork - I9 verification, confidentiality agreements, job descriptions, policies and handbook acknowledgment, as well as employee introduction to LMR benefits
  • Assist employees with benefit elections when employee becomes eligible and during the annual open enrollment period
  • Maintain all employee file records according to compliance law, retainment requirements and company policies
  • Update all changes in employee rates with new offer letters, Wage Theft protection notices and employee files
  • Maintain employee files with performance reviews, counseling sessions and recognitions
  • Process proper paperwork for terminations in employee files
  • Provide support to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll questions, leaves of absence, and unemployment or disability claims
  • Administer the unemployment claim process

Education, Experience and Required Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or closely related discipline, and/or related business experience

Reporting to the VP pf Sales, the Midwest Sales Manager will work in conjunction with our distributor partners in the territory. This role will work independently as well as with our distributors’ sales teams to sell, establish and maintain relationships with on and off premise accounts in these markets. Additionally, this role works collaboratively with the entire LMR sales team on national and chain account development and maintenance.  
Responsibilities:  
•  Sales Management
o Management of all sales in the territory with the designated wholesalers
o Make direct sales calls on the key accounts in the territory
o Work closely with the respective distributor’s sales representatives in the designated territory
o Create target account list
o Presentation of new wines to the respective distributors in the territory
o Use the distributor resources and all available reports when applicable to track sales, inventory and progress
o Use LMR TARGIT Sales system to track sales, depletions, inventory and progress

•  Brand Management
o Direct the placements and image of the products
o Plan work-with schedules in the territory; make arrangements for presentations and events with distributors, trade customers and consumers when in the territory
o Work with VP Sales to develop budgets, programs and marketing strategies for territory
o Provide frequent presentations to the distributor’s sales teams in general, individual team and manager meetings
o Planning and presentations of events in territory
o Planning and presentations for in-store tasting or consumer educational seminars

•  Sales Administration
o Manage expense budget
o Submit and maintain price change forms to ensure current listing are up to date at distributors
o Provide LMR with consistent reports of progress regarding the territory
o Provide status reports via e-mail to LMR head office upon request
o Communicate regularly with VP of Sales
o Oversee collections from distributors when necessary
o Provide VP of Sales with activity reports
o Maintain distributors’ workbooks with goals, updated price structure, programs and notes 
o Must maintain a mutually respectable relationship with other LMR team members

Education, Experience and Required Skills:
•  At least 2 years of wine sales experience in the state of Illinois and Midwest territory. Wine sales experience for either a supplier or a distributor is highly desirable
•  Bachelor’s degree in Business, desirable, or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree will also be considered
•  Additional wine education highly desirable
•  High proficiency in MS Office and Google Gsuite productivity tools
•  Proficiency in sales management reporting software a plus
•  Preferably based in Chicago 
•  Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record required  
•  Ability to lift 40+ pounds
•  Ability to work both independently and as a team

Long Meadow Ranch has a unique opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team to provide quality service to our winery management team, farm production team, and other business partners. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the financial reporting and analysis for multiple entities, management and oversight of LMR Wine Estates LLC inventory, wholesale revenue and receivables reporting, and other ad hoc analysis as deemed necessary. This position requires ethical conduct and thoroughness, along with critical thinking, attention to detail and time management
The Financial Analyst will follow generally accepted accounting practices, where applicable, adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by the company. 
Responsibilities:
•  Generate and distribute budget to actual variance reporting and document management meetings. Perform analysis, including both financial and non-financial metrics. Provide commentary on significant budget variances.
•  Complete daily labor cost analysis for all departments.
•  Manage Wine Estates sales and inventory data reporting for distribution to Targit and wholesale sales team. Ensure accuracy and completeness of data. Provide support and analysis as needed.
•  Manage Wholesale Logistics Coordinator, whose responsibilities include daily wholesale sales order processing and fulfillment, cash receipts application, and inventory movement. Assist with international shipment requirements on “as needed” basis. 
•  Ensure accuracy and completeness of cased goods and packaging inventory reporting. Reconcile inventory in multiple locations. Effectively manage relationships with third party warehouse, shipping, and logistic companies.
•  Maintain current Wine Estates receivable balances, distributing customer statements on “as needed” basis. Calculate and submit broker commissions for payment. Provide oversight of customer sales incentives processed by Wholesale Logistics Coordinator.
•  Participate as a team member on key business initiatives, including cost accounting, workflow management, and customer correspondence protocol.
•  Other duties as required.

Long Meadow Ranch has a unique opportunity for an Accounting Manager to join our administration to provide quality customer service to our ranch and winery management team, our business partners, our customers and our vendors.  Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for review and forecasting of cash flow, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures, recommendations for continuous improvement, and general accounting functions for Long Meadow Ranch Partners, L.P. and LMR Wine Estates LLC in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.  This position requires ethical conduct and thoroughness, along with critical thinking, attention to detail and time management.
The Accounting Manager will follow generally accepted accounting practices, adhering to the policies and procedures set forth by the company.
